The lock supports:

What batteries does the KF-SP use?

The lock is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries.

What should I do if the batteries run out?

If the batteries are depleted, you can: Use the mechanical key to unlock the door. Use the external emergency power interface to temporarily power the lock.

Can the lock be controlled from a smartphone?

Yes.The KF-SP supports Bluetooth connectivity through the TTLock App, allowing you to manage and unlock the lock from your smartphone when within Bluetooth range.

What temperature range can the lock operate in?

The KF-SP is designed to operate in temperatures between -10°C and 55°C.

Is the lock suitable for humid environments?

Yes.The lock supports operating humidity levels between 0% and 95%

Why is my lock not locking smoothly after installation?

Before inserting the batteries, manually test the thumb turn and mechanical key. If the bolt does not move smoothly, check the alignment between the deadbolt and strike plate. Misalignment is the most common installation issue.

Can multiple users access the same lock?

Yes.The KF-SP is designed for multi-user access and can store numerous fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID cards and app users simultaneously.

Can I install the KF-SP on an existing door without replacing the entire door?

In most cases, yes. The KF-SP is designed to retrofit many standard doors. As long as your door meets the lock's compatibility requirements, you can replace your existing lock without replacing the entire door. We recommend checking the door thickness and lock preparation measurements before installation to ensure compatibility.

Does the KF-SP require Wi-Fi to work?

No. The KF-SP does not require a Wi-Fi connection for everyday operation. The lock can be unlocked and managed locally using fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID cards, mechanical keys, and Bluetooth through the Simpled App. Wi-Fi is only required if an optional gateway is used for remote access features.
